Linda is a graduate of Marshall High School. She was appointed secretary to
the Superintendent of Schools and the Marshall Board of Education in April of
1983. Prior to this position, Linda was student secretary at the Area
Vocational Technical School during her senior year, secretary of the Community
Education Program, and the Director of Elementary Education.
Linda is a member of the Miami Methodist Church, attends the Sweet Springs
Baptist Church, and is a member and past president of Chapter LP of the PEO
Sisterhood.
She is married to Steve Perkins and they reside on their farm in rural Sweet Springs.
They have one son, Brandon.
