Welcome to the Marshall High School website! We here at Marshall High School are excited about the opportunities afforded each of the youth in our care. We are very proud of both our staff and students and their efforts to consistently strive for excellence. As a professional learning community we endeavor to offer a challenging curriculum in a safe and nurturing environment. It is our philosophy that we are shaping the entire student body by setting high expectations both academically and behaviorally. It is through their efforts to meet these expectations that individual growth is achieved.

Students journeying through their high school years will experience many achievements that promote sustainable growth. We assure that growth will have lasting impact by answering the following four questions in each teachable moment.

1. What do we expect students to learn?
2. How will we know what students have learned?
3. How will we respond to students who aren’t learning?
4. How will we increase the knowledge of those who have already learned?

These questions will be addressed through a continuing development of curriculum, and various assessment and intervention strategies.

Marshall High School is a great place to be planted and to grow, and by taking advantage of the many academic and extracurricular opportunities all will flourish. We look forward to our students and parents becoming involved in what MHS has to offer. We are committed to the development of students that graduate with the skills necessary to be productive citizens and lifelong learners.
