TEACHER OF THE YEAR!!
Five Saline County Career Center marketing students made it to DECA International competition this year that was held April 28-May 3. DECA sponsor, Cara Posegate, made the trip to Anaheim, California with Jamie Pointer, Katie Pointer, Cassie Hayes, Hannah Sandidge, and Lauren Thomas. One group, consisting of Cassie, Katie and Lauren, received Top 10 honors for their Creative Marketing Project, which is a 30-page business proposal to improve something in the community. They presented their proposal in front of a panel of judges at the conference. Students from across the nation compete at this conference plus students from Canada, Mexico, Guam, Puerto Rico and Germany. Congrats to these girls for receiving Top 10 at International Competition!
