PRACTICAL NURSING PROGRAM
Read or obtain a copy of Practical Nursing Handbook
How to Apply:
Forward to the Saline County Career Center the following:

Completed application. (Downloaded applicationor obtained from SCCC office).

Transcript from high school or GED scores.

Three letters of reference. (Downloaded reference(3) times or obtained from SCCC office). We are requesting the 3 references come from your work employer, associates, or teachers.

Pass background screening. (To obtain form and information.)

Entrance test needs to be schedule. (To obtain test information & instructions.)

Fill out your Free Application for Federal Student Financial Aid (FAFSA) for more information click here.
Admission Requirements:

Open to adults ages 18 and over with a High School Diploma or GED equivalency.

Must make arrangements with the school to take a pre-entrance test: Cost should be paid one week in advance of test.

Pay an enrollment fee which will be determined at the time student is accepted.
After completion of the practical nursing program, the graduate will:
-
Be eligible to apply for the State Board licensing examination.
-
Be qualified to obtain employment and/or further education in the nursing field.
-
Be able to perform the tasks of an entry-level practical nurse.
-
Advocate the safety, security and rights of other people.
