Introduction

This web quest was created to help you research a severe weather condition that you want to know more about. This web quest will guide you through activities and reasearh to determine how, where and why your condition occurs, along with safety tips for protection during your severe weather.

Task

Your task during this web quest is to choose a severe weather condition such as a tornado, hurricane, winter storms, or thunderstorm and research it. You should use your weather research form to take notes. After you have completed your weather research form, you will be given time to formulate a PowerPoint presentation of 5-6 slides containg the information from your research.

Your slides should be as follows: slide one-title page with name of severe weather and your name, slide two-how your severe weather forms, slide three-where your severe weather occurs, slide four-the effects of your severe weather, and slide five-safety tips.

Day One: Complete the activity that accompanies your severe weather condition and take note to fill in your severe weather research form.

Day Two: Finilize research and begin working on your PowerPoint presentation (remember, content is more important than visuals)
