Communication Arts: This year I will be team teaching with Mrs. Makings, Mrs. Sappington and Ms. Romey. Soon you'll be hearing your Reading Teacher assignment! We'll begin the year with Because of Winn Dixie, one of my personal favorites! The first spelling test will be on Friday, August 28th.

Mathematics: A building policy is nightly math homework, except for the last day of the week. So please help your child to remember to do this nightly duty. We will start off with place value, drill and practice facts, review telling time and counting money.

Social Studies: Our class will be switching with Ms. Romey every Monday and Wednesday this year. We'll start switching the second week of school.

Science: See social studies.
