Dear Parents,

Agendas – The agenda is a great organizational tool. This allows you to know what assignments were given during the day. Each day your child copies the agenda from my website so that the information is accurate. I will try to always include the due date so that you will know when the assignment is due. When no due date is listed, then the assignment is due the following day. Any assignments not completed during the day become homework. Your child is supposed to write “done” or “not done” beside each assignment so that they know what to work on. I try to grade papers each night. This allows me to be current on which assignments your child has turned in or not turned in. I make a list of missing assignments and put them into your child’s agenda.

Late Papers- If your child does not turn an assignment in on time, 20% is taken off the first day.

Friday Folders - All graded papers go home in the Friday Folder each week. If your child scores 60% or below on an assignment, I recommend that you have them rework the assignment. Please look over the assignments in the folder, sign and return the folder on Monday.

Progress reports will be sent home every three weeks. This will have print-outs from each subject area to show you how your child has done on each assignment. Please sign the cover sheet or send me a note stating that you have seen the mid-quarter report.
