Let's Take a Tour of Room 106A
|
|
We have 11 computers on 5'x2' tables. I made covers for my flat
screen monitors out of pillowcases cut in half. It really cuts
downs on the dust. I also use miniature white icicle lights (our
chandeliers) for extra light if we need to turn out the overhead
lights. This picture was taken standing in the doorway looking
west.
|

Since our tables are so small there is not a lot
of room in the tables for storage. We use the plastic tubs for
extra supplies and books. The brown poles decorated like trees
are actually the PVC that has our cords running to the ceiling.
Our SmartBoard and projector are also shown. |
|
We have a minimum amount of room. Our room measures
about 20'x20'. There is one computer for every two students up
to 22 students. It looks like a lot of room until my 24 students
fill up the space. |

This is a picture of the front of the room looking towards my
work area. It includes my teacher work station with a computer,
printer, scanner, and VCR.
|
Here's another view of our room. You'll notice that we sometimes
put our monitors down so that we can see the SmartBoard easier.
That's one thing that's nice about our flat screens. |

One last look as we leave our classroom. Thanks for taking a
look around.
