After School Work Time

Dear Parents,

All fifth grade students do not work at the same pace. Because of this, some students find it difficult to complete their work during the day. We want all students to have a successful year. To this end, we will be starting After School Work Time for fifth graders. This will be offered Monday through Thursday, from 3:00 to 3:45. It will start Monday, September 25, 2006. You will need to make arrangements to pick your child up at 3:45. There will be no After School Work Time on Friday or any day we are dismissed early. All fifth grade students are welcome to attend any or all days as long as they are well behaved and working. Students do not need to sign up. They do need to make arrangements if they are planning to stay so they are not making phone calls. They are welcome to bring a drink and a snack for work time. If they do not have work they may use this time to read. We hope this will help all students have a successful year.
