Personally, I love Maddie being here and the whole idea about having a companion at school when you walk in the door.   She greets you and pops her head out of the office so you can pet her. Maddie is a therapy dog who lives with Mrs. Machholz, our principal. She is a black Lab.  Her job is to help kids.

”Maddie is a great addition to our school,”  said Mrs. Norman, my fourth grade teacher. She gives people another thing to look forward to at school. She helps brighten the day of all students and staff.  Kayden from Mrs. Harter’s class said, “ I really like Maddie here.” Lots of others would agree.

Kids would get really mad without her.  So, when you see Maddie trying to do her job, let her .
