On Wednesday April 3, 2019, we had a STEM day visit and they were from Red Cross. They were talking about safety. They asked us what to do in a tornado. We said go to the basement or bathroom. Then they asked us what to do at school and we answered art room because it's the only basement.

The presenters had a book that showed what dangers could be in Missouri. Tornados, earthquakes, and wildfires are common dangers in Missouri. After that, the speaker talked about the Joplin tornado. They had to use pillow cases for a backpack to get things from their classroom.

Red Cross showed me what to do in an emergency. They gave every student a pillowcase to decorate and to use in case of an emergency.  Now I know more than I used to know.
