STEM Workshop Underway at Eastwood

During the month of February, 3rd and 4th graders at Eastwood have been able to participate in an after school STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) program. They have had the chance to build a functional robotic hand out of cardboard that is capable of picking up light objects. They also had the opportunity to build a table out of newspaper that would support the weight of a textbook.

Thanks to the guidance of Mrs. Peel for organizing this event for our students. It was greatly enjoyed by students and staff that participated.
