Third grade students at Eastwood have been studying the life cycle of a butterfly. They had the opportunity to watch the entire process in their science classrooms. From the caterpillar stage to the chrysalis, and finally the butterflies emerged from their cocoons! Students turned the butterflies loose in the Eastwood Butterfly Garden on the east side of the school, as shown in the photos.
