MPS Board Member Jack Lenz was recently recognized at the December School Board Meeting by the Missouri School Boards Association and the Missouri Association of Rural Education. Mr. Lenz, 90, is believed to be the oldest active serving Board member in the state of Missouri.
MSBA Senior Director Linda Quinley, MPS Superintendent Caleb Petet, MPS School Board President Bryon Jacques, and members of his family helped present this honor to him.

Today we celebrated at Benton School!
The Worthy Wolves had their celebration for winning during the month of December.
We also celebrated Reflex progress in Math and Fab Friday!






The Benton School Christmas Skit was a hit! The kids loved seeing the teachers/staff dressed up for their various parts, acting out the story, The Night Before Christmas.
Merry Christmas!!


4th grade students at Benton, did a research project on "Holidays Around The World". Some students dressed like the country of their choosing and some even brought snacks/drinks from their country. The students did an amazing job with their presentation boards, and the 3rd graders loved walking through and looking at the presentations as well.
Mrs. Norman and Mrs. Zank wore their "Winter Luau gear" for dress up day at Benton School.

The winner of the best decorated door was..... (drumroll please)... MRS. ALLEN'S CLASS! Congratulations!
They chose to celebrate their win with a Pizza party!
