The Eastwood 4th Graders had the opportunity to go to the Children’s Literature Festival in Warrensburg. They got to see the authors Beth Vrabel, Roland Smith, and Paul Griffin. Students learned about the writing process the authors go through to take a story from an idea in their mind to a published book. They also learned that a lot of research goes into writing stories before an author even starts a book. Students were excited to purchase autographed books from authors they saw today.
