Our third graders went on an adventure today. Our nonfiction reading has been all about our nation's monuments. We decided a trip to our very own square, to visit some of our city's monuments was a great way to end our unit of study! Students also conquered their iReady goal for the month of September and enjoyed a sweet treat from Patty Cakes. It was a great morning for all!

Congratulations to our 3rd graders for winning this week's Clean Bathroom Challenge. We are so proud of you for having pride in your school! Students received a yummy snow cone treat for all their hard work.

Today students in Mrs. Zanks class studied electric circuits and had fun discovering all of the items in the classroom that are conductors.
Picture Day for MIS will be Tuesday, September 30.
It's PLTW fun in 3rd grade science class! Our Engineering Unit- Save the Tiger, allows students to build simple machines and combine them to make a complex machine that will save a tiger trapped in a moat. Let the construction begin!
