Eastwood had visitors today… real bee keepers! We are studying all things BEES this week, and it was so nice to have some experts come visit with us about these amazing little pollinators!




3rd Graders from Benton and Eastwood shared their talents tonight by singing a few Christmas favorites. Amazing art was on display as well for the program. Great job 3rd graders! We are so proud of you!

Community Forum Tonight! Don't forget there will be another community forum will be on Wednesday at the Great Circle Cafeteria.


Eastwood Attendance Awards go to Mrs. Dryer and Mrs. Miles’ classes! Congrats to both! 95% attendance or higher for the month of November…so proud of you!

The Marshall Public School district will be holding the next two of a series of Long-Range Facility planning community forums on Monday December 12th at 6:00 pm located at Eastwood Elementary School then Wednesday December 14th at 6:00 pm at the Great Circle building cafeteria on Hwy WW.
The topics for community feedback will be:
1. Hearing on closing and consolidating Southeast Elementary school, 5th grade trailers at Bueker, Hoot House, and Tudor House.
2. The purchase of the Great Circle building.
3. Opportunity to give Incite Design suggestions for the Districts Long-Range facility planning.

It was CELEBRATION time in 3rd grade at Eastwood! Students finished their Non-Fiction Writing Unit today by showing off their writing pieces to their classmates. Great job 3rd graders!





More balloon fun at our Balloons Over Broadway Parade line up.





It’s Balloons Over Broadway at Eastwood today. 3rd graders planned and built their very own balloon creations to fly down the halls of Eastwood during our annual parade.





2nd Graders at Eastwood took a field trip to Van Meter State Park today. They went to the visitors center there at the park to learn all about the Native Americans from this area of Missouri.





Our 2nd Graders stole the show in Eastwood’s November Assembly. All three 2nd grade classrooms received the attendance flag this month for having 95% attendance or higher for the month of October! These kids are here each day and ready to learn! Way to go 2nd graders!
