The FIRST LEGO League Challenge MASTERPIECE season has been full of excitement for three Marshall teams.  Teams have been busy researching ways to share a hobby with others, developing innovative solutions, and designing and building an autonomous LEGO Spike Prime competition robot.   They have also been on a mission to promote STEM and robotics within the community.

This season’s FLL Central Missouri Qualifier was held in Columbia, Missouri, with 18 teams vying for advancement.   During the event, Marshall teams took top spots with The 3 Roboteers receiving the 2nd Place Champion’s Award, the Dreamineers receiving the 3rd Place Champion’s Award along with the Robot Performance Award, and K-JAM Innovations receiving the Core Value Award.

Coach Lori Peel commented, “I am so extremely proud of our Marshall students.  They are always so willing to take on new challenges and learn new things.  I am always so impressed with their persistence and hard work!”

The upcoming Championship will offer advancement to the top three spots.   Champion's Award 1st Place will advance to the FIRST World Championship in Houston, TX on April 17-20, 2024.  Champion's Award 2nd Place will advance to Florida Sunshine Invitational in Daytona Beach, FL on June 19-23, 2024, and Champion's Award 3rd Place advances to Western Edge Open in Long Beach, CA on May 31-June 2, 2024.
