Marshall High School was inspected and treated for bedbugs on Sunday, February 23rd..  No bugs were found but areas that have been identified as suspicious were treated additionally.  To be clear, the teacher who found and reported the bug was not in their assigned room at the time of the sighting.

For their wellbeing, there are to be no students in the following areas until Tuesday morning:  areas in front of Mr. Verts' office and Mrs. Heinzler's desk, coaches office on boys' side, and the weight room.
Marshall Public Schools will be updating all information as soon as it becomes available.  There will also be additional guidance and support for identifying types of bugs, prevention, and treatment of clothing, school items, and living areas if necessary.
If you see or suspect a bedbug on any of your child(ren)'s belongings, please contact the office of the building where your child attends school.  Once again, thank you for working with us to keep Marshall kids healthy and happy!  Dr. Carol Maher
