The FIRST LEGO League Challenge SUPERPOWERED season has been full of excitement for two Marshall Public Schools teams.  The teams have been busy conducting research, developing innovative solutions, designing and building LEGO Spike Prime competition robots and perfecting their performance, while promoting STEM and robotics within the community.  This year’s SUPERPOWERED  innovation challenge involved reimagining the energy journey.  Teams researched how energy is generated, stored, distributed, and consumed,  while exploring real-world problems and ways to make the energy journey better.

This year’s season began with FLL Team #4903 K-JAM Innovations and FLL Team #57657 The 3 Roboteers competing at the FLL Central Missouri Qualifier in Columbia, Missouri,  with 18 teams vying for advancement.   During the event,  Marshall teams took top spots with The 3 Roboteers receiving the 1st Place Champion’s Award, and K-JAM Innovations receiving the 2nd Place Champion’s Award, advancing both teams to the FIRST LEGO League Challenge Missouri Regional Championship in Wentzville, Missouri. The 3 Roboteers and K-JAM Innovations greatly appreciate all of the tremendous support from the Marshall and surrounding communities as they have prepared this season, and they are proud of the opportunity to represent our communities.

Marshall teams were coached by Stephanie Thompson,  Dr. Andrew Linsenbardt, and Lori Peel.
