BMS Parents, If you enrolled your child in 6th-8th grade Summer School, we sent home information with the students yesterday and/or today. Bus passes were sent home last week. If you have questions about your bus pass, please call the MPS Transportation Office at 886-2244. Here are the details in case you have not seen the letter yet: Classes will be May 23rd-June 23rd Tuesday-Friday, and our hours of operation are 7:30am-2:30pm. We will not be in session on Mondays. We ask that students arrive no earlier than 7:15am. Upon arrival, enter through the front gym doors and students should report to the gym or the cafeteria for breakfast. If you are dropping off/picking up your student from school, please arrange for that to take place in front or back of the building. Buses will load/drop off on the South side of the building. The main office will be utilized during this session. If you need any assistance, please stop by or call 886-6833. It is very important that you call us if your child is going to be absent. Unexcused absences could have a substantial impact on your child’s learning. Appropriate behavior is expected throughout the summer school program. This includes all times that students are present on the BMS campus, and on the bus to and from school. Inappropriate behavior may result in immediate removal from the program. Thank you for your support during summer school; we are excited for your child to attend and participate so they will be prepared for the upcoming school year!

The Marshall Board of Education has adopted a new governance plan. It covers many facets. Top priorities are: Communication, Safety and Security, Facilities, Climate and Culture. Regarding only communication, our first step is to consolidate our Facebook pages. We want to start working to tell our story and celebrate our staff and student accomplishments.
