This year, 29 Saline County Career Center DECA students participated at district-level competition in UMKC on February 7, 2024. There will be 12 members who will be moving on to compete at the state level, which will be held March 3-5, 2024 at Westin Crown Center in Kansas City. The SCCC DECA students who will compete at state are Avery Evans, Michelle Lin, Bailey Kueker, Kaylen Alvarez, Peyton Marshall, Trevor Watkins, Eternity Lawson, Ethan Russell, Jackson Russell, Cheyann Norman, Mattie Weaver, and Kolten Gotmer

Last week, our senior Building Trades students attended the Kansas City Carpenters Union Senior Recruitment Day. #SCCCWorks

On Friday, January 26th, three students competed in a welding competition at Missouri Welding Institute, where they were tested on their ability to pipe weld. Each student walked away with a $1,000 scholarship to attend Missouri Welding Institute, and a brand new Welding jacket. #SCCCWorks
