This year, 29 Saline County Career Center DECA students participated at district-level competition in UMKC on February 7, 2024. There will be 12 members who will be moving on to compete at the state level, which will be held March 3-5, 2024 at Westin Crown Center in Kansas City. On Friday, January 26th, three students competed in a welding competition at Missouri Welding Institute, where they were tested on their ability to pipe weld. Each student walked away with a $1,000 scholarship to attend Missouri Welding Institute, and a brand new Welding jacket. #SCCCWorks
