Truck or Treat 2024 was a success!
3rd graders at Eastwood had a guest speaker today! We've been reading about the voting process is our Reading Unit. Mrs. Burton was so kind to come and talk about her job and do a fun activity with the students. We voted on cookie color... with orange winning in a landslide! Voting is so much fun! Thank you, to our special guest!
Attendance Awards.... drum roll please... all 6 "houses" of Eastwood earned the attendance award! That means that every team was here at school in the month of September over 95 percent of the time! Way to go everyone! We are so proud of you!

Thank you to our local Scouts leader, Maddison King for coming to visit us at Eastwood. Kids were able to experience a "virtual" camping trip with her, and a fun time was had by all. More information about our local Scout Organization is coming home soon to our students.

Missouri Valley College Football players scored a touchdown today! Some extraordinary men from the team came to Eastwood and read with our kids. They shared some favorite Dr. Seuss books and some facts about themselves.

A big thanks for Missouri Valley College Rodeo for coming to Eastwood to visit with our kids about the upcoming rodeo. Viking Stampede starts tonight at the fairgrounds of Marshall. The rodeo is from Sept. 19-21. Your child came home with a "free admission with purchase of an adult" card on Tuesday.
