Senior Dennis Shivers was recently named the Missouri state champion for his exceptionally high score on the Microsoft Office Specialist--Microsoft Word (Office 2019) Exam for the first semester Fall Qualifier. He has been invited to attend the Microsoft Office U.S. National Championship this summer in Nashville, where he can compete for the National Champion title, a $3000 prize, and a chance to enter the World Championship for Microsoft Office Specialists.
Shivers earned this honor as a part of Computer Business Applications at the Saline County Career Center with Ms. Crumbaugh. SCCC students placed 1st and 3rd on the Microsoft Word exam for the Fall Qualifier in the state of Missouri.
