Interested MHS students had the opportunity to visit Central Methodist University. They were able to hear from an admissions panel, tour the campus, and enjoy an all you can eat lunch in the dining hall. CMU has so much to offer with over 40 different programs to study in a town that feels like you are right at home!

MHS was honored to start off our Red Ribbon Week with guest speaker, Saline County Coroner, Willie Harlow. He shared his professional perspective of dealing with the scary reality of illicit drugs to help educate our students with facts. This week students will learn about finding their "Natural High" and keeping their bodies safe and healthy.

MHS students were honored to attend the annual 131st Bomb Wing Career Fair at Whiteman AFB. They were able to do so many activities. Everything from talking to soldiers who pack the emergency gear, work on the B2 sheet metal, build bombs, medics, Black Hawk and C130 pilots to getting in the aircrafts and checking out the B2 and the WartHog

A big shout out thank you to the Academy of Salon Professionals for being our first Cookies & Careers guest speakers at MHS! Interested students were able to hear about their programs and the world of cosmetology and esthetics.
