Dear community stakeholders,
We are inviting the community to Southeast for a discussion on May 2nd at 6pm. We want to list that building for sale. Before we do, we want to ask what is important to the community that we should not let happen to the building if we sell it.
After we get community input, we hope to put deed restrictions on it, so that when we sell it, we can ensure that the community's wishes are respected. The last thing MPS wants is to let our decommissioned schools sit as a blighted property, or become any unsightly property that no one wants next door.
Below is a link, please share it so that we can get feedback, even if you don't want to come in person.
